We are extremely happy and satisfied with the service Kevin McEvoy provided us in helping us find our home. Because we were moving from the Québec side of the Ottawa River we were not familiar with the realities of buying a home in Ontario. Kevin was able to successfully guide us through the entire process without a hitch and even managed to find an agent to help us sell our home in Hull.
Kevin was always available to respond to our needs and was tireless in showing us homes that interested us. In the end, we settled for a house in Orleans and Kevin handled everything for us, including finding us a mortgage broker with our bank and taking care of the home inspection. My husband and I decided to move to Quebec to raise a family and found a house that we really loved without putting our home on the market, we made an offer. Unfortunately, the bank turned us down for a dual mortgage, so we realized that we would have to sell our home in Ottawa first and then hope that the home of our dreams would still be on the market once we had sold our home.
I contacted Kevin and he met us at our home that evening and we immediately put the house on the market. Kevin walked through our home with us and gave us some helpful suggestions on how to put our home on the market and get it sold quickly! The following day, his real estate office contacted us for two visits that weekend, without our home even being on MLS. When I saw the MLS listing, I was blown away at how great our placed looked. Kevin had hired a professional photographer to take the photos and at no extra cost to us.
Our house sold in 28 days and we were able to purchase the home in Quebec that we wanted.
Kevin is extremely knowledgeable about the selling process in Ontario and even if we had questions about our Quebec real estate purchase and he didn’t know the answer, he would find it and promptly let us know.
Kevin would call us as soon as he had feedback from the other agent who had brought people by to see our home and all the comments were always positive.
Whenever I hear that someone is selling their home, I always pipe up with Kevin’s name as a recommendation. We were both happy with our experience with Kevin and wish Kevin every success for his future.
